My interest in teaching people how to heal themselves started at Quinnipiac University, where I received two degrees, a Bachelors of Science and Doctorate of Physical Therapy. While at school, I participated on the Division 1 Girls’ Hockey Team, which sparked my passion for enhancing athletic performance. Working closely with strength and conditioning coaches, I was able to gain a deeper understanding in sports-specific programming. My fascination with form and function grew as I pursued my 200-hour yoga teacher certification. My yoga classes are both fluid and challenging, fusing together awareness and technique in a compassionate connection. I blend pranayama and physicality mindfully. My integration of yoga asanas and theory, with the scientific knowledge of physical therapy, creates a mind-body connection that promotes the healing process.
