Over 20 years ago, I discovered yoga as part my training in a contemporary dance school in my hometown of Caracas, Venezuela. Since then I have practiced different forms of yoga. In February of 2012 I discovered Baptiste Power Yoga in Savannah, GA, fell in love with the practice and adopted it as part of my life. After moving to Massachusetts in 2017 to teach psychology at Framingham State University, I gravitated toward Baptiste Power Yoga Boston where I recently completed their 200-hour teacher training. I love exploring how my background in psychology informs my practice and teaching of yoga. As a teacher, my goal is to facilitate the benefits that this practice brings me every day. The connection with our physical bodies is key to a productive and healthy life.
